Here is a guide for new members of our website, including information on how to create your social profile page, join in discussions, start discussions and also how to create your directory listing.

Joining ReikiFriend.com

1. To join ReikiFriend.com go to the ‘Join Reiki Friend’ page and select: ‘Join reikifriend.com today click here’
2. You will now be taken to the registration page where you can enter your personal details
3. The next step is to enter your payment details to initiate the one years subscription
4. Once this is complete you will be sent an email to confirm your subscription

Log in and update your social profile

1. Once you have received the welcome email you will be able to return to the ReikiFriend.com homepage and log in using the username and password created at the registration stage
2. Now you are logged in you will have access to the ‘User Menu’ where you can navigate around your social profile
3. To edit your profile page click ‘User Control Panel’
4. You will now see tabs for the different aspect of your social profile. For example to change your profile picture, select the ‘Portait’ tab then select ‘Upload new profile image’ from the drop down menu
5. If you select the ‘Contact Info’ tab, here you can update the information that is displayed on your profile page, such as display name and ‘about me’ sections

Joining ReikiFriend.com

1. Navigate to the ‘Find a Practitioner’ page and select ‘Add Entry’ from the top of the page
2. You can now enter all the relevant details for your business directory listing, including your address in order to have an interactive map displayed of your location
3. You can also create the Meta description and keywords that will be generated for your business listing (this is mainly for improved search engine purposes)
4. Select the category (region) that you wish to be listed within
5. Click ‘Send’ at the bottom of your page when you are done and this will create your business listing
6. All entries are listed on the ‘Find a Practitioner’ and are displayed at the bottom of your social profile
7. To EDIT your business entry, navigate to the category/region you are listed under and you will see the ‘edit’ button above your entry (provided you are logged in)

Using the notice boards

1. On the notice boards page there is a Regional section for events and notices around the UK and a General Discussion section
2. To start a discussion thread, enter the forum you wish to start the thread (ie, Scotland) then click the ‘New thread’ button
3. To add to an open discussion click the ‘Reply topic’ button
